The Bio-Board tracks the locations of patients, doctors, nurses, and clinicians within the hospital. The Medical Board tracks who came in, what time they entered, tasks, and responsibilities assigned by managers. The BioBoard and its integrated mobile application revolutionize personal health monitoring by combining real-time biometric data collection with intuitive digital analytics, empowering users to make informed lifestyle decisions and fostering proactive wellness management.
2 — QUESTIONS AND THOUGHTS TO CONSIDER
The following are questions and thoughts to consider for the enhancement of collaboration and patient care, as well as effective communication between doctors and nurses in healthcare. For example What are regular interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care plans? This provides insight into how this product might enhance the conversations amongst staff and make meetings easier to address patient needs. Clear and concise handoff reports during shift changes are another item to consider. How might this project make the handoff between shifts smoother and less time-consuming? Another item is the use of standardized communication tools like SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation). The application and board can use this form of writing to create outlines for more effective communication approaches. This research design also considers encouraging open dialogue for questions and clarifications. Utilizing electronic health records (EHR) for real-time updates on patient status is another way to recognize patients’ needs and wants throughout their stay at the hospital. Lastly, providing feedback on care outcomes to improve future communication. The application can include full-circle moments where physicians can look at ways to improve and how they can adjust daily habits to create meaningful engagements with staff and patients. This poses the question of how we can use the information obtained to strengthen the conversation around transparency for our patients and the head of staff?
